A JOURNEY TO GRATEFULNESS

Inner Power

Having a grateful heart can lead us to develop a positive mindset.

A positive mindset can help alleviate our fears and anxieties about the future.

Focusing on gratitude can transform our perspective on life and have a profound impact.

No matter the circumstances, there is always something to be thankful for in our lives.

Discovering the Benefits of Gratitude

In this program, we will be building on the concepts of the Gratitude Challenge.

Practicing gratitude offers numerous benefits. Regularly expressing gratitude can foster positivity, compassion, and kindness. It can make us feel more alive, help us sleep better, and even strengthen our immune systems.

While it’s natural to feel grateful for significant events such as promotions, weddings, or new babies, finding gratitude in small moments can lead to a more fulfilling life.

Research studies have shown that keeping a gratitude journal can significantly increase life satisfaction and overall well-being. By making gratitude a regular practice in our lives, we can experience the numerous benefits it has to offer and cultivate a more positive and fulfilling outlook.

What’s the Problem

The problem with our belief system, which we have learned from our experiences, parents, and society, can lead us to see problems in various aspects of our lives, and shifting our language from “should” to “could” is an effective way to overcome this tendency.

What Do We Know

Choosing to love ourselves fully can attract love, respect, and kindness, and aligning our thoughts with positivity and the Law of Attraction can lead to more positive circumstances, people, and events

in our lives.

Where’s the Resistance

Becoming aware of our thoughts and words can lead to a shift in our perspective, and by paying attention to our non-verbal cues, assumptions, beliefs, and self-imposed limitations, we can take the first step towards change and avoid trying to change others instead of ourselves.

The Change – Week 2

Stages of Change

There are seven distinct stages, each requiring specific intervention strategies, and identifying which stage you’re in can enhance your likelihood of succeeding in the change process, ultimately progressing from a stage where change is neither desired nor needed to one where a new behavioural pattern has been consistently maintained and integrated into the client’s lifestyle.

Steps to Change

Steps to Change increases self-awareness, success, clarity, focus, and accountability. They help you understand the stages of change, choose appropriate interventions, concentrate on specific behaviours, and stay on track towards your goals.

Building New

Building new is about creating new habits and behaviours that will support your personal and professional growth. By adopting new practices and letting go of old ones, you can expand your capabilities, improve your performance, and achieve your goals.

The Work – Week 3

COVERS

Daily Work

To embark on a journey towards gratefulness and inner power, it is necessary to engage in daily work that involves a dedicated commitment to self-care practices. This includes regular exercise, healthy eating habits, and getting enough rest to balance the mind, body, heart, and soul. Such practices can help build resilience, enhance overall well-being, and strengthen inner power.

Relationships

Relationships with others and the relationship with oneself are critical to developing inner power. They can provide emotional support, boost self-esteem, and provide self-awareness and self-love. Self-care can lead to resilience, confidence, empowerment, and healthy meaningful relationships.

Work vs Home Life

Balancing home life and work life is crucial in maintaining inner power. When an individual is stressed or overwhelmed in one area of life, it can spill over into other areas and deplete their inner power. For example, if someone is struggling with work-related stress, it can affect their energy levels, mood, and ability to focus at home, leading to strain on personal relationships and

a lack of self-care.

The Mindset – Week 4

COVERS

Success

A growth mindset is crucial for developing inner power and achieving success. By embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, individuals can increase their resilience, motivation, and self-confidence. Focusing on personal development and adopting a growth mindset can help to improve inner power and lead to greater success.

Prosperity

Developing inner power can also contribute to prosperity in various aspects of life. When an individual has a strong sense of inner power, they are more likely to have a positive outlook on life, take risks, and pursue their goals with confidence. This can lead to greater opportunities for career advancement, financial stability, and personal growth.

Abundance

An abundant mindset is characterized by the recognition and appreciation of the abundance that already exists in one’s life, rather than dwelling on scarcity or lack. This perspective can cultivate feelings of gratitude, positivity, and contentment, which can contribute to a sense of inner power and well-being.

Resources

COVERS

Being part of a community can offer individuals a sense of belonging, connection, and support, leading to increased happiness, confidence, and overall well-being. Communities also provide opportunities for personal and professional growth, collaboration, and access to resources and expertise, which can increase the chances of success. The power of community lies in its ability to foster a sense of belonging, support, and growth, contributing to a sense of inner power.

Meditation offers various benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, improved emotional well-being, better focus and concentration, increased self-awareness, better sleep, reduced physical pain, and lowered blood pressure. Regular practice of meditation can contribute to better physical and emotional health, increased performance at work or in school, and a more fulfilling life.

Journal prompts can help individuals to reflect, explore new ideas, and express themselves in a safe and non-judgmental way. This can lead to increased self-awareness, creativity, stress management, and problem-solving skills. Writing prompts can also help individuals to clarify their thoughts, organize their ideas, and prioritize their goals, contributing to a sense of clarity and direction in life.

The Creator

Geegado Megwan Kwe, that’s my Spirit name, handed down to me by an elder. Little did I know then how much I would eventually embody that name – “Talking Feather Woman”.

I strongly believe that each person has the ability to heal themselves and that my job is to bridge the gap between the client and the methods that best suit their process. No matter what our experience in life we can change our lives by taking action and not staying stuck. By helping ourselves, we help others who are struggling with similar experiences. No one comes through this world without struggle, but it’s how we move through those struggles that get us to the other side.
